This is the SA-43 Hammerhead from the popular 1996 TV show Space: Above and Beyond. I have seen many photos of the ship on the web and found some that were three view drawings. I measured numerous parts and then multiplied them to make the ship the size I wanted. I then made templates out of graph paper and used them to make the parts out of wood. The ship has a 20" wingspan and is 18" long. All parts are hand crafted and carved - there are no prefabricated parts anywhere. Image: Under construction |
