Here is the AMT Cardassian Galor Battleship. For the most part it was built out of the box. All of the panel lines were sanded down and re-scribed. Painting was a bit of a nightmare in that almost every reference photo I came across showed a slightly different version of the base color so I just did my best (I actually repainted it 3 times). I followed the shading instructions from an article I came across written by the builders of the studio model. I didn't use the kit decals, instead downloading and printing the fantastic markings from this site by Carlos Zangrando. The window decals I did myself and were applied in some cases 2 or 3 at a time, but mostly 1 at a time (it took almost a week). Overall I was pretty happy with the outcome and, even though some of them haven't been the best, I've always enjoyed AMT's Star Trek kits!
