Bakura-Class Destroyer |

The Bakura-class Destroyer formed the backbone of the Bakura Defense Fleet that was established following the repulsion of the Ssi-ruuk at the battle of Bakura. The Bakura-class consisted of interdiction cruisers and were designed around the power reactor used by Imperial II-class Star Destroyers. By the time of 18 ABY, only three had been know to the built: Watchkeeper, Sentinel and the model showed, Defender. This model was carved in exstruded polyspan, with the cannons of the defense turrets built in 0.3 mm plastic wire. It was painted with Royal Talens acrylics. The first layer (primer) in deep olive green, and several layers of drybrush in olive green, gray blue, medium gray and dark brown. As with the rest of my models of the "Star Wars Rebel and Imperial Fleet", it has been built in the same scale than the AMT Imperial Star Destroyer.
