Apocalypse Car

This is a buildup of my Mad Max Interceptor type car made from a 2010 Mustang Shelby kit. This was my attempt to make a Mad Max Interceptor type vehicle. I was not attempting to make an exact duplicate but something that was unmistakably from the Mad Max universe. The original Interceptor was supposed to be a Mustang so I decided to go with one as the base of my model. The kit is very well made with very nice lines and details and required very little clean up. It went together very well and would make a great stock/out of the box buildup. What follows are the custom features of the model: Made fuel tanks using found parts/plastic caps Cut body of car to fit fuel tanks Made/sculpted raised hood, rear wing, and jump seat Made fuel lines and return lines that run from fuel tanks thru interior Custom intake for K & N type air filter and spark plug wires for motor Made grill guard, rear guard, and exhaust pipes Made dog food boxes and cans with labels as well as a blanket and tarp Image: Engine Image: Body Mods Image: Dash Image: Interior Image: V8
