Aliens: Colonial Marines

The scene shows a team of Colonial Marines defending the APC as the rest of the squad has already moved farther into the Aliens' lair. The 1/48th scale APC is from Bam Bam Productions.  The Colonial Marines are 28mm Defiance Games Marines with 28mm World War 2 heads from Warrior Games.  I added the helmet cams and neck guards.  The pulse rifles are from Hasslefree Miniatures and fit perfectly.  The Aliens are from Heroclix and were also a great fit to this scale.  The Powerloader, meant to be a background piece, was one of the biggest pains.  I took a Leading Edge Aliens Powerloader cast in pewter and molded and cast my own in resin.  I had to cut out the Ripley figure and add some height onto it with plastic blocks since it was too short.  The Alien eggs and facility I scratch built.  Image: Sentry Gun Image: Loader Image: Run
