E-Squared NX-01

While not a fan of the 'Xindi' story arc from season three of Star Trek:Enterprise, I did find a few episodes quite compelling; one of which was entitled "E squared"(E2). In the episode, the crew encounters another Enterprise, sent back in time 117 years by a spacial anomaly. The ship, crewed by thier (future) descendants; has been heavily modified over the course of many decades producing, what I thought, was a unique and interesting variant. Not long after the episode aired and with nothing but a poor VHS copy of the episode, I went to work gathering parts to kitbash this 'other' Enterprise. Central to this build is Polar Lights' awesome 1/1000 scale NX-01 and more than a few parts cobbled together from various Space Battleship Yamato models, a couple of 1/25 scale car models and even a 1/35 scale APC! Due to my somewhat perfectionist nature, this build took nearly a decade to complete, but I must say I am very happy with the results.
