Mars Patrol Cycle

By 2170  Mars has been colonised by  the nations of   Earth, resulting in several domed cities situated near the northern polar ice cap. Each of these vast cities is classed as its own sovereign state, abiding by the laws of whichever nation on Earth sponsored their construction.   This is Police  Officer Faith Marion with her  FP MRK III  vehicle  (built exclusively for the Police  by the Guyers Corporation)    from the British-sponsored city of New Albion situated on Olympia Planum. Although most police work revolves around patroling the city, enforcing the law, protecting property and limiting the  civil disorder that arises from time to time,  they are also charged with routinely patrolling  beyond    the city walls as Officer Marion is seen doing here.   This kit bash uses the Revell ARC-170 from Star Wars as the main section of the vehicle with the  canopies from two Moebius Viper Mrk 7's from Battlestar Galactica cemented end to end. (unfortunately I made a schoolboy error by not realising how badly frosted by the super  glue the canopies would become...Doh!) The wheels are from the Batpod model Also from Moebius, with the Viper pilot (readjusted to a standing position) as the police officer.   Image: Front
