Jeff started with the body of the Testor's Mig-37 along with the V-tail that was supplied with the kit. He then cut out the wings and canards from sheet styrene and glued them into place. Then the real work began. Jeff used a lot of putty to fill in the gaps and to smooth out the general shape. After he was happy with the general shape he scribed panel lines. From there the model was pretty much finished it "as you would an F-18 kit". Things like the landing gear and the missles came from the Mig-37 kit. Decals were from aScale Master Marine F-18 sheet. |
