Space Shuttle Challenger

I built this model in 2 stages. I bought the 1/72 Shuttle and was recently lucky enough to notice the Shuttle with booster was reissued. The model is huge, over 30" after completion. It was tough to get the shuttle fuel tank the right color and ended up using Model Master Go Gango #2970. This was the only over the counter local paint I could match. The rest is classic white. I need to put a few more black stripes on the booster tanks, b was not happy with the results I was getting with paint. I probably will go with some kind of thin auto pin striping. The detail the largest models have is really impressive, but it is bulky and tough to work with, but fun.
