USS Jezebel NCC-98632

By Chris St. John

USS Jezebel, NCC-98632, Jezebel-class. Named for the wife of King Ahab of Israel....and maybe for the 10,000 Maniacs song I was listening to when I built her. I decided that after the Dominion War, there's probably be more ships like the Defiant: small, fast, and armed to the teeth...but not many in number. I developed 2 separate designs & the Jezebel-class was one of them. I incorporated the pulse phaser technology into the ship in a block form; they're the gunship grey block at the leading edge. I figured that in the 9 or 10 years since the war, Starfleet R&D would have found a way to take emitter crystals in a "block form" & encase them with the coils needed for the pulse aspect.

The ship is entirely built from laminated sheet styrene, except for the "bulge" on top--that's the upper half of the 1/1400 Galaxy captain's yacht. I recently rebuilt the nacelles and the pylons to give it a more streamlined look. Overall, it's about 2½ inches long.
