Earth Alliance SE/9 Stingray Interceptor/Scout

The Stingray Interceptor was intended as a replacement for the aging Starfury. With the selection of the Thunderbolt for that role, however, the Stingray never enetered full-scale production. My model was built from the 1/48 scale Naboo fighter (injection kit) which I discontinued after deciding to build the Die Cast kit. The top and lower humps are from the Federation droid fighter kit which I thought was disgustingly small for the price. The details are from very small model parts from my spares, and the detail decals are from the Aliens drop ship kit. The EA decals are spares from a Starfury kit. The Interceptor is overall grey, with gunmetal trim colours, and weathering was dry brushed, then streaked with a brush dampened with turps. Side View Top View
